Hook, Line & Sinker challenge

seafishing_2The joy of landing a huge catch, what is commonly called ‘a big one’ is immense and the joy of taking a photo snap with the big one in your hands is even greater. Many people look forward to an unforgetable experience of deep sea fishing in Krabi and the surrounding sea. Spending quality time with your family or a group of friends together on a deep sea fishing adventure is something to cherish.
Especially so when cheering each other when a fight is on and the joy of landing the big prize is immense. The tropical water of the Andaman Sea is rich with fish stock. Teeming around the limestone outcrops are Cobia, Sailfish, Barracuda, Giant Trevally, Mackerel, Big Eye Tuna, Marlin, Queen Fish, Grouper, Snapper, Jacks and others. The trip is only for the hardy and adventurous, perhaps the greatest test of an angler’s skill, stamina, strength and endurance. You never know what you will come up with, but that opportunity is real.

Day or Night Fishing Program by Big Boat
We will take you to the Andaman Sea. Here, you will experience another side of game fishing which you might have never seen before. We provide the boat with full equipment for night fishing such as Sounder and Dynamo. Night fishing trips are only available to clients who book and rent the whole boat in advance. The main season for deep sea fishing is from November to April each year. Early reservation with local fishing operators is necessary to prepare a successful trip.

Been here and what blogger discovered & experienced :-

” Tuna are common all year in the waters surrounding Phuket and there are several varieties; Yellowfin, Dogtooth, Skipjack, Mackerel Tuna, Eastern Little Tuna and Longfin. Wahoo are plentiful during the SW monsoon season, King Mackerel (Tanguigue), Narrow Barred Mackerel (Tenggiri) and Barracuda are other members from the “razor gang” always present. Giant Trevally’s are huge and plentiful and can always produce fantastic action on popper. Other offshore species available all year round include Dorado (Mahi Mahi), Rainbow Runner, Blue Finned Trevally, Golden Trevally, Queenfish, Cobia, Coral Trout, Mangrove Jack and a wide variety of reef fish. The information provided must be considered “only” a guideline. Many factors have an influence on the migratory path of pelagic species. Water temperature, wind, current and bait can cause these normal patterns to fluctuate. ”
