Early morning around 7:30am, we kicked start our day with the complimentary breakfast in Peace Laguna Resort, an international buffet which is similar to what is offered in most of the hotels or resort. I just like it ^^  Here comes the transport fetching us to port for our SPEEDBOAT island hopping – Phi Phi Islands.

Krabi/Phuket 2010 – James Bond Island

Posted By : J2Kfm.

James Bond Island – Originally named Ko Tapu, or “Nail Island”, the remarkable piece of rock reached
super-stardom when featured in the 1974 classic James Bond movie; ” The Man with the Golden Gun”

After the previous day’s excursion to the Phi Phi Islands, we booked for another sightseeing program on the very next day. Actually, we booked from the same tour agent (Let’s Go Krabi) on the evening after the islands tour. After much haggling (we Malaysians are good at this, I tell ya!), we agreed on a 800baht/RM80/USD25 per person – Kayaking Full Day Trip which includes a) Go to Phang Nga Bay by A/C minibus
b) Longtail boat to James Bond Island & Khao Ping Gan
c) Canoeing trip at Lot Cave
d) Visit Suwankhuha Temple (Monkey Cave)
e) Lunch @ Koh Panyee (Muslim Floating Village)
f) Rejuvenation session at a waterfall

Road Trip – Krabi, Thailand.

Posted By : Ina Mohd

Destination – Krabi, Thailand.  Distance to destination – 850Km. Departure point – Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.  Total cars in convoy – 4.  Stopover – overnight at Hat Yai, Thailand.
It was a 5-day trip.  4 of them were spent on the road.  That leaves us with only one full day to enjoy Krabi.  11 of my family members occupied 2 cars, while 2 of our friends in the other 2 with their families.  The journey to Hat Yai itself was an 8 hour drive.  Thank god I’m wasn’t driving!  …or so I thought.  My dad had fever on that day so I took over the wheel.  Poor thing was coughing nastily throughout the whole drive.
We stayed at the beautiful AoNang Villa Resort.  Gosh.  Felt like I was in one of those Travel Channel show reviewing hotels (think Samantha Brown’s Passport to …Asia?).

Krabi governor asks all to wait for autopsy on two tourists died on Phi Phi Island

Krabi Governor Siwa Sirisaowalak said on Wendesday all sides should wait for result of investigation into the deaths of two foreign tourists on Phi Phi Island.
He was referring to an article in a newspaper written by famous columnist Nitipoom Navaratna which claimed that the tourists died of food poisoning early this month. Siwa said, “The investigation into the death has not yet completed. We have not known yet the cause of deaths. The Forensic Science Laboratory are performing an autopsy.” “Nitipoom shouldn’t speculate because it makes people confuse and the most important thing is that his article is defaming Krabi,” he added. Meanwhile Krabi’s deputy chief doctor Bancha Khakhong said samples from the dead tourists had been sent for examinations. All sides should wait for the results. More than 90 per cent of the restaurants on the island met the health standard, the doctor said.
